Glen Grant 18 yo to bardzo ciekawa pozycja. Intryguje mnie jej zapach, jest bardzo złożony, zaczyna się lekko i kwiatowo, przechodzi w nuty owocowe a później drzewne. Smak to znowu owoce i spora dawka słodyczy ale też dębowej goryczki. Finisz jest dość długi miodowo-waniliowy. Glen Grant 18 yo, niby taka „zwykła” whisky ale to chyba jej największy atut. Pijąc ją myślę o tym, że tak kiedyś musiała smakować whisky z beczek po Burbonie 🙂🥃

Glen Grant 18 yo is a very interesting whisky. I’m intrigued by its smell, it is very complex, it starts gently and flowerily, switching into fruity notes, and then woody notes. Taste is fruits and fair dose of sweetness, but also oaken bitterness. Finish is quite long, honey and vanilla. Glen Grant 18 yo, kind of „ordinary” whisky, but this is probably its greatest advantage. When I drink it, I think that’s how whisky from of ex-bourbon cask whisky must have used to taste 🙂🥃
